July 29, 201115 yr Billy Hamilton has been on fire lately. Good to see that average come up some. .256 OBP is to low .320. He is at 75 SB. This is in 390 at bats. He needs to cut down on strikeouts too, 95 K's. His BA has come up every month this year. April - .212 May - .218 June - .252 July - .337

July 29, 201115 yr Still pointless to have Alonso sitting the bench...Dusty did this all the time in Chicago. Jim Hendry would bring a guy up from the minors or land one in a trade, seemingly with a role in mind, and Dusty would let the guy languish on the bench so he could play his favorite veterans.

I think Jocketty has skated by all season free of blame based on his reputation, when he's made blunder after blunder.

July 29, 201115 yr I agree. As do I. I like a lot of people were sucked into believing this years team would be pretty good. And considering last season, I believe that justified. But I, like many people, took way too long to realize that belief was incorrect.
