July 30, 201115 yr Reds win! Renteria delivers. Dusty is a genius. O.K., on the last comment....... Lets settle down now, take a deep breath and get some rest. This summer's extreme heat may be affecting you. Just havin' some fun with the four anti-Dusty's.
July 30, 201115 yr Just havin' some fun with the four anti-Dusty's. There are more than 4 of us you can bet.
July 30, 201115 yr There are more than 4 of us you can bet. Only 4 that think nearly every move he makes is wrong and not fit to manage. I too have questioned some moves. There are a half dozen or more moves by every manager in every game that can be legitimately questioned. That's baseball. But I think Dusty is a good manager, much better than I thought he was when he was hired. Current poll results running about 65% in favor of Dusty.
July 30, 201115 yr Why don't they play like they are in this 1st inning all of the time? They'd win way more games.

If you did a poll of all Red's fans I'd bet it would be a little closer to 50/50.
July 31, 201115 yr Author Just havin' some fun with the four anti-Dusty's.  I knew that you were, I just wanted to throw a jab back at you. :thumb: On another note it was nice to see the Reds get another W over the WS Champs. The bats woke up and combined with good pitching efforts from Leake and the pen. Nice win all around, Hopefully the Reds will close out the sweep tommorrow and head to Houston on a roll. The Reds could really make a run this next week.
July 31, 201115 yr That's only on BGP. If you did a poll of all Red's fans I'd bet it would be a little closer to 50/50. I think it would be even bigger. I think in the general public it would be at least 70% in favor of Dusty. If you eliminated those drinking Lance McAlister kool aid, it would probably be 75%.
July 31, 201115 yr Author Someone else can start the next week thread, My week dropped four to the Mets...at home!

If you eliminated those drinking Lance McAlister kool aid, it would probably be 75%. McAlister can be a rambling idiot at times. I wouln't poll the general public because the majority of them can care less about baseball in general. I would poll season ticket holders who have to endure the everyday happenings of the team.

July 31, 201115 yr If there's still a chance at a miracle, it starts today. You have to win the 3rd in a row to officially hope for a streak. 2 in a row means nothing.

At this point it doesn't matter what the Reds do. They have built themselves too deep of a hole with too few games remaining. They now have to have help from the other 3 teams ahead of them.
