Who else can he bring in?

It's the 6th inning for crying out loud. You go down and get somebody and worry about tomorrow tomorrow.

Arrendondo threw 13 pitches, Bray 11...I'd say either of them can be more effective than this guy.

They have been doing that the past few games. You want them to bring in Masset or Coco? Bullpen would then be in even worse shape for the series with ATL.

No need to slam Thompson he chocked but it also could've been worse...I mean the gm is probably over now but he couldve given up more...Heck even ol Coco chokes now and then :D

He's at the dish, so it's his baby the rest of the way.

I might lose myself if Thompson bats...

Nothing like waving the white flag in the 7th inning of a 3 run game.

That's the whole reason he didn't pull him in the 6th because we was due up in the 7th and didn't want to either pinch hit or double switch.

Can you explain Arredondo warming up then?

Dusty's going to pitch him the distance and he and Fisher will go back to Louisville tomorrow. At least Fisher had a respectful showing last night as the sacrificial lamb.

He probably waited too late to get him ready so he couldn't use him. If he wasn't planning on pitching him longer why did he bat him in the 7th?

Fisher earned mass points last night. He was spectacular.

Arredondo hasn't pitched back to back games since being called up. I think they are being careful since he is still coming back from major arm surgery. Bray has pitched two days in a row so do you want to put him into a game trailing by 3?
