20 pitches in 2 innings for Lee....Reds really are not an intelligent team. Talented, absolutely. Smart, not at all.

Where they smart when the had Halladay at 123 through 7 innings last night?

Halladay couldn't throw strikes. That was the worst game he's thrown all year.

And you're also making my point. When you make a guy work it pays off.

Dumb today. Smart last night. Got it.

This team has zero plate discipline. Everyone has said it for the past year and a half. They have to lead the league or be darn close in swinging at 1st pitches, and fewest pitches seen.

Daryl Thompson has been promoted and is in the clubhouse....

In Double A ball Thompson was 1-4 with a 4.44 ERA in nine starts.

He was on the 40 man roster and they needed an arm. It was the easiest solution.

Well, I don't have the #'s but would be willing to bet that both Stubbs and Bruce have become more disciplined and take more pitches. It's funny, we don't complain when we have a couple of guys in the lineup that were hot and we wouldn't be discussing this at all.

Plus he had 8 hours of sleep.

Terrible AB with a scoring opportunity by Heisey.
