May 26, 201115 yr Semantics. Not at all. Do you think his priority is winning or is his priority having fun and being the show?
May 26, 201115 yr Not at all. Do you think his priority is winning or is his priority having fun and being the show? I'll answer with a question. Do you think that he loses focus because he yucks it up when he's out there? Why does he feel the need? I have no issue with the effort. Not my argument. Yes I think he wants to win. If he was focused on that, we'd be in bed with a W.
May 26, 201115 yr Via Twitter... d_a_cameron Jose Bautista's slugging percentage is higher than Edwin Encarnacion's 3B fielding percentage.
May 26, 201115 yr It's not like I want to trade the guy. Just saying, he could be so much more than he is. How many bonehead baserunning errors do we need to see? I agree it drives me crazy sometimes.

May 26, 201115 yr And that's the difference in the Reds and the Phillies in a nutshell. They have professionals who are interested in playing the game the right way. Not interested in the show. BP interested in the show. I beg to differ. The difference in the two teams is starting pitching.
May 26, 201115 yr I agree it drives me crazy sometimes. Focus on your craft. He doesn't lose focus with the glove. Doesn't lose focus at the plate. To be a complete player he has to do it on the basepaths. Bottom line.
May 26, 201115 yr I beg to differ. The difference in the two teams is starting pitching. Thanks Captain.
May 26, 201115 yr How can the Reds give a game away??? Let me count the ways, 1. ) throw a chest high fastball with no movement on it in the middle of the plate to R. Howard,:irked:. 2. ) More so and just NO explanation for is a star(BP) having the same attention span as Volquez does when on the mound.....none.Turn your back to the pitcher :ohbrother:, NO stinkin' excuse for that ! BP keeps his freakin' head in the game and Reds score/win. Dusty imo should fine him. I don't know how this will come out but the Reds deserve to lose this one.
May 26, 201115 yr It's the friggin' 11th inning. He's yucking it up with Rollins earlier, grabbed Howard's arm at first base earlier. Just flippin' stupid. He's the go ahead run. I agree he plays hard. Has nothing to do with playing stupid. I agree. No excuse and as I said, Dusty imo should fine him.
