Heck, he might even play Baseball his Sr yr and who knows. That could be a nice problem. At one point in time he was on his way of being a very, very good pitcher. WOW!! Could one imagine him bringing it from 60'6"

Having faced him on both fields, he threw a football much harder than he threw a baseball. I asked him about that and he said it was all about the different arm motions.

Congrats to the family. I attended law school with Terry and have met Patrick. Both are very nice people. The success is well deserved.

Scout just put out their early rankings of the playersfrom 2012. Towles came in as the #23 QB overall and a 3 Star. Now, real star rankings have not beenreally done yet (only about 10 5-stars right now), so this kid could end up as a 4 star on their site. Pretty cool.

Congrats to Pat and his family. Will be nice to see him to continue to wear Blue and White. UK football will hopefully keep open the door for more kids from NKY to come on down.

After watching Towles play last year I remember thinking that he could play for any school in the country. He is not just big but is amazingly athletic for his size. This may be the best in-state recruit that UK has had in a while. Now if they could have gotten a certain LBer that wears #5 to come there we'd really be talking about a great in-state recruiting class.

I hope the receivers see UK just got a verbal from a 6'5" QB with a huge arm and come to catch those TD's. Should be interesting to see how the 2012 class ends up for UK.

You nailed that one. We (Bluebird Nation) heard the same thing this evening as Dale Mueller welcomed next years Freshman class to HHS football. He talked about the usual's, what's expected, commitment, greatest class ever! HAHAHAHA!!! Just kidding. Seriously, he talked about how Patrick was just that, a back-up QB on the Freshman team. Well, we all see how that worked out. Congrats again Pat!!!

That is a great message for Mueller to the freshmen. It is always tough freshmen year when you don't get that playing time you want. And there are surely many talented kids in every Highlands freshman class that don't get the PT they were hoping for. That message from Mueller keeps the kids in the program and working hard because you never know what might happen.
