The latest I've heard on that issue was that Cal put him back in line basicly telling him that if he wasn't going to go to his classes that Cal would kick him off the team.
March 27, 201115 yr Article in LH today said the he stated in the locker room after making the first statement..."righ now". Sorry don't have time for a link...going to church. Looks like he is trying to take back the first statement of he was staying.
March 27, 201115 yr Once again he doesn't have to be ready, they do. Nobody thought Orton was ready and they were right. But he only had to fool one team and he did. No one is ready to write him a check is that better. :lol:
March 27, 201115 yr I look for Knight to return as well. He puts emphasis on academics as well as basketball. This season Knight became a sophomore academically and I think that I heard he was going to summer classes. Knight could possibly be a junior academically next season. I could be wrong but imo he will stay at least one more season and work on graduating early, something along the lines of P. Patterson. I also believe that Jones will go out after this season. Jones could get drafted on potential and I just don't think that he wants to play college basketball. jmo

March 27, 201115 yr Lamb isn't close to being ready to go. I'm not really sure there is even a decision to be made. With these kids you never know I guess. That's what I was thinking... I didn't even know that was a possibility for Lamb.
March 27, 201115 yr IMO it's dumb for any kid that doesn't have a top 20 guarantee from multiple teams to leave. A 2nd round contract is not worth it, the thing isn't even guaranteed. If you are a first rounder you get 3 years automatically with a team option for year 4.
