What Did You Give Up for Lent?

What did everyone give up for Lent?

 

Mine is going to be extremely difficult, but I'm confident I have the will power to see it through. I decided to give up alcohol. What about you all?

My daughter told me on Tuesday that she was considering giving up studying, but hopefully she will reconsider.

I swore off Diet Cokes, although I did get a couple weeks' start on Lent.

 

It seems I've unintentionally given up driving, since my car's been in the shop all week.

I gave up going out for lunch and drinking beer, and I'm volunteering for Housing Opportunities of Northern Kentucky (like Habitat for Humanity, only run by the Diocese of Covington) every Saturday during Lent.

It's actually not that high. Only 40mg for a 12 oz can. Milk has 125mg for 8oz

The caffeine withdrawals have stopped thankfully. It is the hardest thing I have ever given up though.
