Anyone hear how the Crons did today in Dayton? The Bombers won both of their games today, so they will be playing in the Division 1 bracket tomorrow. The last game they played today was against a very physical 17U team from Ohio that resulted in a couple of tehnical fouls against the opposing team. I'm very proud of the Bombers for keeping their composure. Good luck tomorrow to all the Ky teams in the tourney there.

The NKY Storm, Team Kentucky and the Bulldogs are in the BCI tourney at Hoops in Louisville. Very physical play so far, too much actually! Not sure how all the teams did yesterday but I am sure they all were very rough games. In one of rhe later games things got very heated which led to an "event", but due to BGP policy that can't be discussed here, but I'll just say that what the above poster mentioned about composure, it sure wasn't there at this game!

In the first game Crons 16U was matched up against Crons 17U (for whatever reason) and the 17U won by 10. Crons 16 won the next game big, and just finished another big win.

 

I don't have exact scores or stat's, just getting some text updates from my brother.

Thanks for the reply. The 16U bombers just won their first bracket game by a half-court shot at the buzzer by Andrew Sampson. The team they beat was a 17U west Ohio team.

The Northern KY Select (Tarheels) got on some kind of serious roll this weekend in the Dayton Metro Tournament. The U15 team is now in the Championship game in the high school division with all pool winners. Impressive.

What happened to Tate Mullins? Didn't he used to play for this team?

You are spot on with your "lack of composure" at this tournament. A lot of talk about that.

 

I had a chance to watch the 2 Northern Kentucky Bulldog teams (14U & 15U) play this weekend. The 15U team is very aggressive on defense and does a pretty nice job. They seem to lack "bigs", which appeared to be a slight achilles heal this weekend. The Moeves kid is real solid. The 14U team took Team Southern Indiana 2015 to overtime. Really should have won the game, but some mental mistakes and missed free throws cost them late.

 

What I did see that was impressive was the 14U Cincy Knights that were playing in the 15U division. WOWWW! This team is fantastic. I know they did very well last year, but they were just beating up on teams. The 6'6" (name unknown) and the 6'4" (Kennard) kids were very good! Another player that impressed me was #12. He was maybe 5'10" and just rose above the rim for a nice one-handed poke. As a basketball fan, I will look to get out and watch them quite a bit this summer.

 

Lastly, I had a chance to see the NKY Storm team that seemed to be compiled of mostly Holmes kids. They were a solid team that appeared to have some strength and athleticism on their side. Anyone know how they did this past weekend?

15U Bulldogs 6'5" Center has an injury that kept him from playing this weekend. The 15U division was solid with over 20 teams this weekend. Except for the "event" Saturday night, this appeared to be a pretty solid weekend.

16U Kentucky Elite traveled to Murray State this weekend and won the championship of the Blue Chip Racer Hoopfest. Team is really starting to gel together. They head to Atlanta next weekend for the Atlanta Celtics Wallace Prather Memorial.

Tate is playing with Kentucky Shinining Stars coached by Mike Price from Oak Hills, along with Jordan Hassel, Cody Chambers, Jake Burger,Boopper Stenzel, Matt Hargett and some others. I don't know all the names.

Crons-Ponzer 15U team finished as the runner-up in Division III at the Dayton Metro Tournament. Played some very physical and athletic teams this weekend and got better each game.

Where will everyone be playing this weekend?
