March 8, 201115 yr The Cincinnati Enquirier just did a list of the 100 greatest multisport athletes in the area. Kentuckians on the list were: #21 - Derrick Smith/Highlands #31 - David Justice/Cov. Latin #32 - Frank Jacobs/NCC #33 - Scott Draud/Highlands #45 - Bob Barton/Holmes #50 - Bob Demoss/Dayton #65 - Jared Lorenzen/Highlands #72 - Cory Farris/Boone County #74 - John Turner/Newport #82 - Allan Feldhaus/Boone County #86 - Brandon Burger/Beechwood #92 - Andy Seitz/Scott #100 - Luke Maile/Cov. Cath If there were a statewide list for just KY, who would be the top athletes?
March 8, 201115 yr #101 - Parker LaBoiteaux/Boone County - Cough Cough haha jk. Category being THE BIGGEST JACKBALL on BGP?
March 8, 201115 yr I wondered where Jason Johnson from Conner would be on the list and he did not make it in the top 100.:madman::idunno:
March 8, 201115 yr Wallace (Wah Wah) Jones would have to be near the top being from Harlan and a college All American in Football and Basketball.
March 8, 201115 yr Wallace (Wah Wah) Jones would have to be near the top being from Harlan and a college All American in Football and Basketball. NKY/Cincy only on this list.
March 8, 201115 yr Author NKY/Cincy only on this list. True, but I asked the question who would be on it if the list were statewide. Tim Couch and Michael Bush would certainly be possiblities
March 8, 201115 yr Here are a couple that pop into my head: 1. Tim Couch (Leslie Co.) 2. Chris Snopek (Harrison Co.)
March 8, 201115 yr You forgot to include 3 guys from NKY that played at Cincy St. X who made the list. George Ratterman Bob Arnzen Jim Bunning.
March 8, 201115 yr I would think from my generation you could maybe say Evan Stowers (went on to be a solid diver in college and played on a great SK bball team as their point guard).
March 8, 201115 yr Evan McDole was a pretty big time player for Brossart in Basketball and Baseball and went on to play Baseball at NKU.
March 8, 201115 yr I would think from my generation you could maybe say Evan Stowers (went on to be a solid diver in college and played on a great SK bball team as their point guard). Stowers would not be at the top of my list & probably not in my top 10 of recent athletes. Evan McDole was a pretty big time player for Brossart in Basketball and Baseball and went on to play Baseball at NKU. McDole definitely deserves to be included in any group within the last 10 or so years.
