I can't get past Haley's arrogant attitude. She is by far the least gracious of the three to be where they are. She's too fake for me. Scotty was the best last night and I hope he or Lauren wins it.

There are a lot of us who picked up on that vibe from her.

I've never noticed arrogance. She didn't like some of the opinions but I don't think it's a requirement to do so.

I agree. I have never noticed an arrogance of phoniness. Out of the remaining three, to me, she is the only one who looks like she is consistently having fun. She has certainly taken more criticism than Scotty and Lauren, especially from Randy and I guess because she doesn't let if effect her she is arrogant or ungracious?

No, it's because she DOES let it effect her. She's continually giving looks of scorn to her fellow contestants and the judges. She just has a huge chip on her shoulder.

I was not surprised that Haley got the boot. I wonder if her fall on the steps cost her any votes?

Scotty and Lauren are the best in my opinion. Both will have careers in country music.

 

Have to say I picked them 6 weeks ago. So glad Haley is gone! America got it right. I hope Scotty and Lauren develop some sort of professional relationship. I think they would be a great team. I really don't care who wins at this point, both will be a huge success.

She looked stunned to me. That seems like a normal reaction to me. It would seem insincere to me if she immediately smiled and gave a big hug.

I just went back and watched James' farewell performance and Lauren wasn't crying in it. She had a sad facial expression and appeared to feel his pain while Haley was smiles and looked like she could care less. No one is bashing Haley, just stating our observations and opinions. However, I'm glad she is gone. The next American Idol will be someone who is gracious and grateful to have had this experience.
