Okay, so because Haley didn't hug Lauren and keep hugging her when her name wasn't called and because she didn't obnoxiously thank the judges for this opportunity constantly, she is ungrateful? Maybe she is competitive and wanted to win. I'm sure we all watch sports. Peoples express their losses and wins in different ways. I can see how you can say Jacob Lusk was arrogant and maybe even a tad ungrateful, but when you are talking about Haley, you are just digging.

I don't watch american idol, I think it's crap. Mrs C does and I have to listen to her and her mother discuss it relentlessly. And, I listen to the people at work talk about it ad nausium. Three out of four despise Haley. The other 1/4 are blind to what makes so many dislike her and vote repeatedly for her, which has kept her on the show longer than most feel she deserves.

 

On a side note. There are a whole bunch of guys who need to turn in their man cards for caring so much about this crap, it's awful. Of course that's just my opinion.

I thought it was great. He showed his appreciation and love to his family, friends and contestants. He and Lauren had a nice kiss and some big hugs. I look for them to become a pair in the country music world. They will have great careers.

Yes, I will be shocked if they have sustained success. Tim McGraw doesn't have the strongest voice yet he was heads and shoulders above the kid when they did their duet.

 

If they were selling Scotty /Lauren CDs tomorrow they might get a big hit. Unfortunately for those two it takes a while to get a CD out. The young girls will have moved on by then.
