I think that we all can agree that the 9th Region is wide open with a few select teams with the logical edge. Perhaps 6-8 teams have a chance with the odds ranging. All of those teams at this point in the season should be season tested and in peaking form in their physical stamina, with the exception of any unfortunate injuries. Stamina aside, what teams know themselves as a cohesive force that can put together a run and completely understand the game plan put together by their coaching staffs? What coaching staffs have a game plan that is solid and can lead their team in the most effective way? Who can play with a purpose and believe without doubt what they can accomplish? What teams will find an edge fueled by an undying heart and soul beyond their physical abilities? It takes a team on the exact same page having a unanimous focus of the same goal, locked in solid and tight without a hint of waiver. Who is that team? I think a few for sure can seriously follow these essential guidelines, but they themselves can only know from within what output they will CHOOSE without falter. If they think they can... play solid team ball and stay focused... they can, but as we know, only 1 team from the 9th can win the prize of traveling to the shrine that is Rupp Arena. I'm imagining a ton of exciting emotional basketball being played out during the 9th Region Tournament at the BOK and perhaps one of the most intense games of survivor, marking the 3rd year at this fantastic facility. We do not yet know for sure the entire field of 8, but once the bracket falls into place, I don't think that anyone could guess with complete certainty the outcome of any one of 7 games. The entrants could all prove to be fierce and worthy of advancing, displaying one of the most wide open, action packed, head scratching, question mark tourneys since perhaps the 2001 Season where the 7th ranked Highlands Bluebirds stepped up to conquer all to represent the 9th, but first by having to squeak past the Conner Cougars in double-overtime in one of the most intense finals on the high school level that I have ever witnessed. If anyone thinks that they can skip any sessions during this tournament they should think again. Taking nothing away from the excitement of the 2 years so far at the BOK, I feel this years tourney will be hitting its stride with absolute excitement throughout. I know that I can't wait, but we still have the excitement of the districts to enjoy and whoever ultimately comes out of the 9th Region will have surely earned every bit of the right to be the one. Who that will be... I would be a fool to claim that I know. Whoever that team is will have to emphatically decide that they are going to be the one and convincingly slam the door. It's gonna take some serious guts and if I may ask the entire field of 8... "Do you know who you are?" ... because you BETTER!!!

I would based on their guard play and if they get streaky like they are capable they can scare and beat anybody in the 9th.If CovCath inside guys struggle like they have been they have o shooters to reley on.

However, I must say that I struggle reading your posts. Maybe it's just my brain but one big long , LONG paragraph doesn't click with me. I say this not as a criticism but as someone who enjoys your posts but struggles with their format. Break it up somehow so my pea-sized brain can absorb it.

Im going with Ryle #1 and Holmes #2. For what its worth I am going with one of these two teams in the ninth.
