One of the classically overlooked bands of all-time. Plus, they didn't go on the cheap when it came to fan schwag. I still have an SCW sticker on the back of my car that I affixed to my ride shortly after I bought it in '98.

Silverchair - Israel's Son, Tomorrow, Pure Massacre

I'll add a few for Silverchair.

Silverchair - Shade, Cemetery, Abuse Me, Suicidal Dreams & Ana's Song (Open Fire)

Seven Mary Three - Devil Boy

I think many people underestimate 7M3. They have put out some really good music throughout the years. Sadly they were doomed by the record companies.

I agree with you about 7M3; I have went and listened to them at Annies, the last time was two or three years ago. They have made good music.

Weezer should pay you some money, because reading through this thread made me go searching for Weezer songs. And in that search I found "Death to False Metal" a CD Weezer released with songs that never made albums in the past. I purchased this album today. I then found the "Pinkerton" deluxe CD, and bought it as well. So I spent $25 on Weezer today because of you .

I was just ticked that I didn't find them until a year or so ago. It was actually from one of the "what are you spinning" threads and I believe it was you that mentioned them. I vaguely remembered the name so I started listening to some of their stuff online when I could find it. End up getting the Magnolia ablums and it's one of my favorites.

Me too..... ^

It may be in the genes though because I do believe I am a semi-professional air guitarists. While most people sing when they're in the car by themselves, I tend to go air guitar. Sometimes I even switch is up with bass or drums. When I get the urge to jam on a killer guitar riff or something I will fret the steering wheel with my left hand and pick my seat belt around the buckle as if that is my guitar. I have nailed numerous solo's with that method.

Great stuff, not sure how I missed this thread. CWB crushed it though.

Love 80's stuff. But after looking through this thread, I may like 90's stuff more.

Just since the dust has been knocked off this thread and since I did not include specific songs in my initial post here goes.....

The Meat Puppets - Backwater

Candlebox - Far Behind

Rage Against The Machine - Freedom

Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box

Alice In Chains - Nutshell

Blind Melon - Change

Tool - Third Eye

Sublime - April 26 1992

Pantera - Five Minutes Alone

NIN - Perfect Drug

Marilyn Manson - The Nobodies

Radiohead - Parnoid Android

Smashing Pumpkins - Zero

RHCP - Under the Bridge

Weezer - Undone

Temple of the Dog - Hungerstrike

Stone Temple Pilots - Creep

Primus - Jerry Was a Racecar Driver

Lit - Own Worst Enemy

Blink 182 - Dumpweed

Green Day - Basketcase

Korn - Blind

And that is just one song from many of the 90's bands I enjoyed. Like I said in my first post can't go wrong with anything Tool, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime, Nirvana, RHCP, Blind Melon, Alice In Chains, R.A.T.M., almost everything they have all done has been excellent.

Smashing Pumpkins released an album last Tuesday...Stone Temple Pilots released an album today...Everclear released an album today...Ben Folds Five has an album currently on pre-sale...

WHAT IS HAPPENING????
