January 12, 201115 yr Not the best album of theirs, IMO, but Numb which is on Zooropa (1993) is AWESOME! Of course, you may need to be a little weird like me to appreciate it. Of course, Some Days are Better Than Others is on that CD, which is pretty much the anthem of each day of my life.

January 13, 201115 yr The 90's was an excellent time for rock, metal, and alternative. My favorites of this time are Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains and I liked all of the music that they made. Other bands and their songs that I liked are: Meat Puppets/Backwater Pantera/Domination, Psycho Holiday, Mouth for War, and more. Chris Cornell/Sunflower (Great Expectations movie soundtrack) The Verve Pipe/Freshmen, Villains, and Photograph Tool/Swamp Song and many more I liked a lot Everclear/Santa Monica There are a bunch more, I could go all night doing this.
January 13, 201115 yr Blind Melon - No Rain Jane's Addiction - Jane Says, Been Caught Stealing Temple Of The Dog - Say Hello To Heaven, Hungerstrike Toadies - The entire "Rubberneck" album. I still freaking love that album. Weezer - Anything from the Blue Album or from Pinkerton. I could do without the rest of their career. Spacehog - In The Meantime (One of my personal favorite bass lines ever.) Poe - Trigger Happy Jack, Angry Johnny (Man, she was hot.) Mad Season - River Of Deceit Silverchair - Israel's Son, Tomorrow, Pure Massacre Seven Mary Three - Cumbersome, Devil Boy, My My, Water's Edge Semisonic - Closing Time, Singing In My Sleep Filter - Hey Man Nice Shot, Take A Picture, Skinny Hum - Stars (One of my FAVORITE songs to come out of the 90's.) The Flaming Lips - She Don't Use Jelly Cracker - Low Smashing Pumpkins - Drown (AWESOME b-side from the Singles movie soundtrack.) Stone Temple Pilots - Dancing Days (Outstanding cover version of Zeppelin's song from the tribute album "Encomium".) Radiohead - The Bends is a great 90's rock album, but OK Computer was one of the albums to revolutionize the "Alternative" genre, as far as I'm concerned. I agree with your statements about Poe, the Toadies, Stone Temple Pilots, and Radiohead. I thought the singer for Poe was gorgeous, I still have my Toadies CD and still listen to it, the Dancin' Days cover by STP may be one of the best covers ever done. I have seen STP play many concerts and they did the cover live for the first time that I saw this past summer at Riverbend and was great.
January 13, 201115 yr I know that this is kind of off topic, but if any of you enjoy concerts and have not been, I recommend going to Rock on the Range in Columbus, OH. It is a two day rock festival at Crew Stadium featuring bands that are current and from the 90's. It is a great time and not all that expensive for everything that is done. I've been to several rock concerts/festivals and can honestly say this is one of the best rock festivals currently going on.
January 14, 201115 yr Cowboy Mouth- Jenny Says Better Than Ezra- Good Queensryche- Another Rainy night, Jet City Woman

February 24, 201115 yr It's easier for you to just come down for beers and BBQ some weekend and look through my CDs and vinyl.
February 24, 201115 yr Great performance; this is on a DVD that has live performances, bootlegs, and videos that came included with their Thank You (greatest hits) CD. I watched the DVD a lot when I first got it, which has been quite a while now.
February 24, 201115 yr Some I didn't see but might have been on here: Black Crowes: Twice As Hard, Jealous, Thorn In My Pride, Seeing Things For The First Time Aerosmith: What It Takes Blind Melon: No Rain Blues Travelers: Run Around Foo Fighters: Times Like These The Georgia Satellites: Keep Your Hands To Yourself Guns + Roses: You Could Be Mine, Don't Cry Lenny Kravitz: Are You Gonna Go My Way Matchbox 20: Hang Motley Crue: Dr Feelgood, Don't Go Away Mad, Kickstart My Heart, Same Ol' Situation, Without You I think that was 90 Pearl Jam: Even Flow, Alive, Black Seven Marry 3: Water's Edge Tonic: If You Coulld Only See The Way 4 Non Blondes: What's Up Toadies: Possum Kingdom Obviously a lot of those aren't hard rock but some 90's off my head not counting all the ones mentioned. Nirvana had things like Lake of Fire that was good too. Tesla had some good tunes on 5 man Acoustical Jam that was close to 90. Ozzy had some other songs like Mr Tinkertrain. Metallica outside the big 3 or so Where I May Rome etc. Plush by STP. Pumpkins had a bunch. Bullett With Butterfly Wings was probably my favorite outside of Tonight Tonight.
