January 11, 201115 yr Everything around us is closed, except for the University where I work...bummer. Keeping my fingers crossed that it gets worse throughout the day and they feel the need to close the school a few hours early. We'll see. It's just a syllabus day anyway lol.

I just noticed the same thing after going outside a short while ago. Theatre Square looks like a post card, or a movie set with the snow falling as it is.

January 11, 201115 yr Snowing hard here in NEKY..(Flatwoods,Ashland area). We are supposed to get 1-3 today and another 2-4 through Thursday. Krogers puts out another storm warning and probably were out of bread,eggs,milk and water yesterday :lol:. Why is it always milk, bread and eggs that fly off the shelf :idunno:?

That was last night though. :idunno: This storm looks like a partial bust. I think we'll end up with 3-4 but it doesn't matter because it's all melting on the roads, I had to come into work, the roads just weren't bad enough for me to justify not coming in. Tonight could get interesting though, winds are supposed to pick up, and shift towards the west which could bring back a bit more snow and cause drifting. Then again, probably not.

January 11, 201115 yr The wind has really picked up here in downtown Louisville. Brrrrr.....The trolly turnaround is startint to look pretty bad, but 4th Street looks OK. I got distracted when I went to look at Broadway. A homeless man set up camp in front of our Art Gallery entrance, and the Fire Department came to persuade him to move. He was all set with tarps up and everything. :lol:
