January 8, 201115 yr No HT you're missing it. If you say anything and I mean anything other than Palmer is the problem he says it's an excuse. Even if you use a fact (them playing the toughest schedule) he says it's an excuse. He doesn't understand the difference between excuses and facts. The facts are Palmer has had two major injuries and came back from each injury worse than he was before yet to say that to CCC it's an excuse. Even when someone like myslef says that he wasn't as good this year as I thought he would be or when I said he played bad he laughed it off and said I thought he was great. Even though rarely does anyone defend him and nobody any longer says he's elite he claims people do. He really does make stuff up and then act like it's true. It's a great way to argue. Don't use facts and ignore when people are either agreeing with him or partially agreeing with him. You nailed it SSC :thumb:. I love just making stuff up. Love it. And I never use facts, don't liek or trust them. It's much easier and funner to just make things up and put words in other peoples mouths......wait.....isn't that what you're doing?
January 8, 201115 yr Maybe there will be 8 blackouts next season, think that would send them a message? Somehow Im thinking Mikey still wouldnt get it. Eight empty stadiums might get the message across, but as 2 Hump said above--The lemmings will still line up and add to Mikey Boy's riches, and watch him continue to trash his Dad's name!!
January 8, 201115 yr AGREED! I'm over them now! Thye mkae one little change to the staff to make it appear that things will change, if anyone buys this garbage I feel sorry for then, well actually I don't, 19 years of the same thing! They won't make the changes that are needed, the changes everyone including players want! Brat is still here that tells most what they need to hear, You are right, it's a JOKE! That makes 3 of us. The only trouble I have now is trying to sell wortless COAs
January 8, 201115 yr That makes 3 of us. The only trouble I have now is trying to sell wortless COAs The lemmings will buy!! Remember, its just a matter of executing better.
January 8, 201115 yr Let's say the Bengals make a run to the Super Bowl next year. Will you three really stay away the entire season? You're dreaming aren't you? That's why nothing ever changes in Cincinnati because people continue to have hope. The only way we will ever get change is to take a stand. Enough is enough.
January 8, 201115 yr I think it is almost a guarantee that there will be two sellouts at home next year...Pittsburgh and Indianapolis. That is, if there is even a season. You're really going out on a limb aren't you?. You know as well as I do that the stadium will be over half full of yellow and blue for those games.
January 8, 201115 yr First, Mikey keeps an unpopular coach, and an even more unpopular offensive coordinator. THEN Mikey has the nerve to ask Hamilton County for concessions on their lease, which would be worth over 60 MILLION he is now asking from the county on these changes! Has he lost his mind? The county is about broke! They are running around trying to find ways to come up with money to make up for what is needed for the stadiums the way it is! And he wants 60 Million +?

All I can say is that I am very glad that I'm not a resident of Ohio, especially Hamilton County.
January 8, 201115 yr Wow... how do I really write this team a check in March... how.... I will write them a check because I am a loyal fan that loves the hometown team and enjoy watching them play in person, and I would guess that is why most do; it really is not that hard.

Obviously it's your choice what you do with your money, but know that you & those like you allow Mike Brown to continue to put out an inferior product, and laugh all the way to the bank!!

Being a Cincy boy keeps me in it but if they were a stock I wouldn't give them my money with hopes of a return.
January 9, 201115 yr I'm so glad I am no longer a season ticket holder. I've said it and heard it said by many fans until Mike Brown leaves the Bengals will never really amount to anything. Gotta spend money to get players, and when you do get players you should take care of them (hint, Cedric Benson).
January 9, 201115 yr I'll never understand how someone can just stop rooting for their favorite team. Makes no sense to me
January 9, 201115 yr I'll never understand how someone can just stop rooting for their favorite team. Makes no sense to meWhen your money goes to a person who does not care about the team, fans, city, region, and he just uses the team as his little inheritance toy, IT'S EASY! Just a month after the team agreed to a new restructured stadium deal, one of the best deals in the NFL, now he wants more concessions worth more that 60 MILLION! He just stuck his middle finger to the fans, city, county. People do not want to line his pockets anymore! It makes a lot of sense!
