All Bengals coaches will be kept except the LB's coach...

Featured Replies

The Bengals will go at least 8-8 next year. The schedule will be back in their favor like last year. I believe the schedule was a big factor in the record this season.

For Bengal failure. Brat is back so of course the O couldn't be good, etc. The same crap that is being talked about now we still be talked about this time next year. You know it and I know it.

 Cats, normally I find you to be one of the more logical and well thought out contributor's to the sports forums on this site, but I swear when it comes to Carson Palmer all logic and rationale seems to be thrown out the window with you.

Pretty much what it boils down to for you, is that Carson is the entire problem in Cincy, and that anyone who doesn't solely blame any failures they have on him, is making excuses to mask the true problem. Sound about accurate?

Exactly, now he just makes up stuff as he goes.

Yup, sure do it's how I get through life. I just make crap up all the time. How did you ever figure it out?

Here are the Bengals opponents for next season and where they play:

Home (8) - Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Houston, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Arizona, San Francisco

Away (8) - Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Denver, St Louis, Seattle

Again, that is if there is a season and if there is one, if it will be 18 games or not. If it is 18 games and I don't suspect it will be, you can add Oakland as a home game and Miami as an away game.

Let's say the Bengals make a run to the Super Bowl next year. Will you three really stay away the entire season?

Which parallel universe are you in?

UKMF, I would hope you wouldn't take all of the garbage I say about the Bengals as serious. I think CIncy has alot of problems, coaches, owner, players, etc. However, Cincy cannot change ownership so there goes that fix. It's hard to defend any single part of the Bengals franchise, they're just a bad team all around. That doesn't mean that they don't have talent but they're losers. Maybe that's the ownerships fault alone, but the players who are there simply are not getting the job done. Palmer is a huge part of that. People have sang his praises for years, I know a few people who've named children, dogs, or cats after him and it has made me sick. I've never seen it from him, not during his good seasons, not ever. He's always been overrated to me, but that is just how I feel and I know that I've long been in the minority on that.

However, it has been fun this season to argue back and forth with FC and SSC. Really it became stale for me and probably everyone else after week 3, but with the losses the excuses started to mount. Well...Brat is awful, Cedric hasn't been as good, the OL is terrible, Chad and TO are the problem, the young WRs are so much better, etc, it just became a habit. It's really no different from the guys who pounce on UK basketball on here, or the guys who load up on OSU football.

It's hard to look a year ahead, but I would agree with VOR and guess 8 wins at a minimum with that schedule.

No one is making excuses for anything. Do you not see what everyone is saying about this team and next year?

:thumb: No big deal. Probably need someone to chime in and stop that garbage, thanks.

HT, I don't remember you ever making an excuse for Cincy or saying that you ouwld.

No HT you're missing it. If you say anything and I mean anything other than Palmer is the problem he says it's an excuse. Even if you use a fact (them playing the toughest schedule) he says it's an excuse. He doesn't understand the difference between excuses and facts. The facts are Palmer has had two major injuries and came back from each injury worse than he was before yet to say that to CCC it's an excuse. Even when someone like myslef says that he wasn't as good this year as I thought he would be or when I said he played bad he laughed it off and said I thought he was great. Even though rarely does anyone defend him and nobody any longer says he's elite he claims people do. He really does make stuff up and then act like it's true. It's a great way to argue. Don't use facts and ignore when people are either agreeing with him or partially agreeing with him.

This rumor has not been confirmed.

Not totally but Joe Reedy hinted that it's either true or pretty close to the truth.

Willie is NOT that close to the Bengals and Reedy is clueless; I don't buy it for one second.

Why would anyone be surprised Bob "Blackout" Bratkowski is back? Standard operating procedure...
