Either way and you would have to have OSU in there! You can even go the BCS era if you want? They have been to 9 BCS games which is more that any other school and three National Championship games with 1 BCS Championship. That is a pretty good resume for any team!

In all time rankings I would have Alabama, USC, Michigan, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, Notre Dame all before osu.

Are you really going to count that BCS championship*? Please that was a fraud and everyone knows it. If you insist then please put an * beside it. It is comparable to Barry Bonds single season home run record.

The "U"??

Those who hate Ohio State, HATE Ohio State and will usually downplay or degrade anything they do. Which is fine and in a roundabout way a compliment. The Buckeyes are one of the most storied programs in all of college football and without a doubt a top 10 program of all time.

Under normal circumstances it never pains me to see the Bucks win. They are a model of consistency and great football. My beef goes back to the post I made on page 1. This was a chance to stand up for what was right, set an example, and instill confidence in the rest of your team that we will play (win or lose) doing it the right way.
I believe Hatz sums this up nicely as to why there is a little more tOSU dislike than normal.

And let's just be honest, the whole "been to 9 BCS games" arguement is a pretty weak considering they come from what in the past 10 years hasn't been very competitive as a whole. Someone from the conference has to go to a BCS bowl every year, so it's usually tO$U cause no one else in the league is usually very good.

I guarantee if Woody Hayes were coach these kids would not even be with the program now for selling those items.

I agree. While not a Buckeye fan, I wanted them to win this game, because of my disdain for Bobby P. (Mr. Class, himself). However, once it was over, it left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Right on FC...just like people hate the Yankee's for no reason other than they're the Yankees.

Don't flatter yourself too much. The Yankees have another level of dislike for their constant success. tOSU venom stems from the past couple of weeks.

You have been a member since 2002, you've missed a lot brother with OSU threads apparently

I'm not an OSU fan, but the facts are the facts and what you state is really not debatable. They have loads of talent year after year and have as many players in the NFL as anyone.

I would disagree. The Ohio State “venom” was common way before tattoo gate. A quick Google search on the most hated college football programs will result in a number of polls and all have Ohio State in the top 5 or 6. As a Buckeye fan one learns to live with the critics and venom just like I’m sure UK basketball fans do.

Sure, but it has been 10X worse the past few weeks... and deservingly so. Then to boot, all those implicated were the reason they won the game.
