tO$U is kidding themselves if they think that was the 2nd best SEC school :lol: congrats Buckeye fans, you BARELY beat the #4 at best SEC team in arguably the weakest year of SEC football that about any of us can remember , way to go!

I know it pains some of you to see Ohio State win. You might as well get used to the fact they are one of the top five programs in the country because they are not going anywhere anytime soon.

2nd best team in the SEC was a joke last night. OSU mailed in the 2nd half and they still couldn't give it away.

 

I would argue that Arkansas is maybe the 4th best team in the SEC.

 

Without a doubt, I'd take Alabama, Auburn & South Carolina over Arkansas.

Arkansas beat South Carolina by 3 touchdowns and also beat LSU and Mississippi State. I will agree with third place team but you can make an argument that OSU was the third best team in the Big 10. It does not matter how we rank them they still lost the game! I know most of you are not Arkansas fans so I can't figure out why everyone is so bothered by OSU winning this game. OSU did not play the SEC, they played Arkansas!

Under normal circumstances it never pains me to see the Bucks win. They are a model of consistency and great football. My beef goes back to the post I made on page 1. This was a chance to stand up for what was right, set an example, and instill confidence in the rest of your team that we will play (win or lose) doing it the right way. I guarantee if Woody Hayes were coach these kids would not even be with the program now for selling those items.

Since you obviously do not think OSU has any talent why don't take a look at the rosters in the NFL and see how their numbers compare to your top tier SEC teams.

I like the SEC as well, iis no doubt the best conference in college football. I also can actually believe that there are other very good football teams in the country in all conferences.

Amazing job by the seniors tonight. Dex, Cam, Nate. Dane.... OWNED the Arkansas line all night. Great night by the 5 in the spotlight. OSU could have blown Arkansas out, they were, but second half we saw conservative play which has to end. Still the better team won! Another Buckeye BCS win plenty more to come.

I have not read where anyone said they were a top five team this year but if you want to check the final polls when they are released after the bowl games, I bet you will see them in the top five. I stated they are a top five program. I would be interested to hear your top 5 programs of all time, my guess is you would list all five SEC schools. Talking about living in a dream world.

I agree that Tressel gets ultra conservative with the lead and it drives me crazy. I would have loved to heard his half time speech. Guys we did a great job of executing the game plan in the first half but here is what we are going to do in the second half since we have the lead. First down we will go off tackle with boom. Second down we will go off tackle to the right with pryor having the option to hand to boom. If we don't gain any yards we will pretend to run a pass play and have Terrell try to run for the first down cause we don't want to risk a pick 6. If he does not make it we will punt and let our defense try to hold them. As dumb as that sounds it is probably not far from the truth.

 

As far as the D goes they play a bend but don't break defense and try to limit the big play. They get more aggressive in the rede zone with blitzes and try to hold teams to field goals.

If you are talking about top five, wouldn't you at least want to keep it in the last twenty years? Going back to far can become nonrelevant after a while. If you go all time it would have to include Harvard.

Either way and you would have to have OSU in there! You can even go the BCS era if you want? They have been to 9 BCS games which is more that any other school and three National Championship games with 1 BCS Championship. That is a pretty good resume for any team!
