January 2, 201115 yr 1. Draft help on both lines. 2. Don't draft a RB, WR, or TE 3. Find free agents to play LB and Safety. I'd let Benson walk unless he's cheap. I like Scott if they limit him to 12-15 touches and get a decent 2nd RB.
January 2, 201115 yr In the first round? Yes, if they trade down to the lower 1st. I think once he goes to the combine and does some team workouts his stock will rise.
January 2, 201115 yr I will start off with this.... You are the Bengals GM what are the first 3 things you do? 1) Even though it probably won't happen, hire a General Manager. 2) Hire a new offensive coordinator. 3) Draft a new QB and a receiver in the 2nd round.
January 2, 201115 yr Yes, if they trade down to the lower 1st. I think once he goes to the combine and does some team workouts his stock will rise. You sure you don't have him mixed up with Alshon Jeffery? I would think that AJ Green, Julio Jones, Michael Floyd, Ryan Broyles, and a bunch of other guys would all grade out higher. JMO though, I was never impressed with Gurley.
January 2, 201115 yr I would rather have a starting free agent QB than drafting a QB. Who do you have in mind? Good starting FA QB's are just floating all over the NFL.

January 2, 201115 yr I would rather have a starting free agent QB than drafting a QB. I agree...But I don't think any good free agent Qbs will come to Bengal country...
January 2, 201115 yr I would take Michael Floyd he is a beast! There's also Blackmon from Oklahoma State or Baldwin from Pitt. I wouldn't even dream of taking Gurley before the 3-4 round.

I would think that AJ Green, Julio Jones, Michael Floyd, Ryan Broyles, and a bunch of other guys would all grade out higher. JMO though, I was never impressed with Gurley. I think he has serious upside but as you posted the ones you list will probably be higher. So after further consideration how about him in the 2nd round.
January 2, 201115 yr I think he has serious upside but as you posted the ones you list will probably be higher. So after further consideration how about him in the 2nd round. He's a huge WR (think 6'5"), he just wasn't that productive. Maybe part of that was Jeffrey and Lattimore needing the rock though. If I could get him later in the draft I wouldn't be mad. Then again alot of the guys I mentioned may come back to school.
January 2, 201115 yr Who do you have in mind? Good starting FA QB's are just floating all over the NFL. Still waiting UKfan... I will even give you a list... He's not great but I think he's better than the guys mentioned.
January 2, 201115 yr How Flynn from GB? He's not a FA? Isn't Vick? :thumb: Flynn hasn't looked bad in his brief bits of action.
