January 21, 201115 yr Brad Childress met with Marvin last night according to Joe Reedy. Childress was in the running for the Rams Offensive coordinator spot along with another team. It may be something, but probably not. Childress and Marvin are friends. They went on the trip together over the summer to Afghanistan where Childress got to see his son.
January 21, 201115 yr I never thought much of Childress as a coordinator. Everybody knows Andy Reid and Marty Mornhinweg have been the offensive minds of the Eagles. Me either, but I'd take Kragthorpe over Brat. He'd be an improvement for them, that's for sure.

Only if he can get away from LSU I think across the NFL most people lost any respect they ever had for Brad Childress as evident by his lack of control. He mishandled this entire season and the locker room viewed him as a joke. Sounds like a Bengal hire to me.
January 21, 201115 yr Benson has said a few times this year that he did not like what they were doing on offense. He kept trying to make a point at the end of the year, on how they should have been running the ball year. He has said he won't be back unless there are some changes with how the Bengals do things. Which once again most likely comes back to the offense, and him thinking they didn't run it enough. The guy who calls the plays is Bratkowski. So how do you not buy that he does not like how Brat runs the offense? Many people have said things about Brat, current players, and former players. So I don't see how you don't think its not about Benson not liking Brat. Since basically no player has backed Bratkowski, and all we haev heard was some players take shots at him. First of all, I don't like Brat and hope he is gone. But Brat also called the offense in '09 that featured Benson! Benson would not be so bold as to say, "If Brat is here I am gone." He is not that type of guy; yes he wants changes, but it doesn't have to be the OC's head.
