Belfry 47 Sheldon Clark 7

It really does mean Belfry was the better team guys. SC 20 LC 19. Belfry 47 SC 7. That is way to big of a difference to even argue.

There is no way to be certain....But I do know that Belfry was pulling for SC because they was afraid of losing to LC!!!!

How does Leslie seem to always get pulled into Belfry's threads, when some of the Leslie fans or at least I know I have, got on here and said congratulations to Belfry and good luck next week? :irked:

I would love to know how you "KNOW" that as a fact. I have personally talked to the players and afraid of Leslie they were not!

Saying that Belfry was afraid to play Leslie is like saying that Leslie lost to Sheldon Clark on purpose because Leslie was afraid to play the Pirates... :sssh:

Besides, Leslie County wasn't even brought up in this thread by a Belfry fan.

Here we are again at the final 4 and Belfry, who is supposed to be rebuilding after losing Jones and Howard are right in the mix again. What a great job the players and coaches have done in maintaining excellence in the Pirate program. Well done!

Most Belfry fans were pulling for SC for several reasons, none of which were that they were afraid to play LC. That is a pretty cheap talk in this situation, all things considered. :sssh:

I's say that's a pretty accurate statement, onei! :thumb: Although your percentage reminds me of a song that I still remember. ;):D

You mean the same thing that happened when we traveled to Breathitt Co. last year, when they were ranked by some as the #1 team in 2A? I believe that's wishful thinking for some, just as it was last year. ;) :thumb:

Every team seems to have the "rotten apples" among their fan base who always want to blame their team's loss on something other than what happened during the game, and "IF" something else happened things would have been different(or worse!). I think most of us who live here in the mountains are supporting the Pirates in their bid to 3-peat, since our team wasn't fortunate enough to be on that road that ends at Papa John's Stadium in just a few short days.

I do wish the Pirates the best! And as a parent of a senior, of course I hated to see it end for my son....But that doesn't mean I'm not supporting Belfry....They are a great bunch of athletes with an outstanding coach...I know that they will represent the mountains with style, they always have! :thumb:

Congrats to Belfry for the win and go get Russell this Friday.
