I find it completely hilarious that (arguably) the king of all UK fans went to Duke.

Ohhhh the irony.......

Of course....I was a student at UK.......

How funny that the king of UL fans (Terry Meiners) went to UK.

If you're using that as a proper counter, don't. Terry's a goober, and his undying devotion to Ricky is downright sycophantic, if not pathetic. It's not as though legions of Cardinal fans go flocking to get Terry's "word of the day" either.

I so want to know what you originally said.

I am using it as a proper counter even if I don't have your permission.

Now you've done it. Remember there are some people you would like to buy for what their worth and sell them for what they think they are worth.

Great. Then I'll feel free to start considering all UK fans to be just like the ones who screamed bloody murder on the Big Blue Line when Eddie Sutton dared play five black players at once. That's just as reasonable as assuming Terry Meiners stands for everything UofL.

I get it. It's OK for you to think it's hilarous that MJ went to Duke, but I can't think the same thing that Meiners went to UK. Typical thinking from a hater.

You can think it's hilarious all you want. The bottom line is that it's far more ironic that Jones went to Duke, when you consider his stature as a UK fan mouthpiece.

Wrong again.

What percentage of UK fans do you think went to school there? I'd say 10% or less.

What percentage of hardcore, pro-UK, UK 'insider' website running mouthpieces attended Duke? I definitely see the irony.

I know exactly who Matt Jones is. Never heard of the Meiners fellow. Of course, the only time I pay attention to UL is when they play UK anyways.

And, as stated earlier, I attended UK and loved every second of it. Still rooted for Duke and still hated UK basketball. Loved everything else at UK though. Especially the 1996 National Championship celebration. Best party I have ever attended. Word up.
