I've seen alot of football over the years and don't have time really sit down and compile a list but this year alone I think Elliot was better. I think Frisk is comparable to the Kelly kid from NCC.

I agree with you. I'd list Alexander first, and then Simpson second. There's a good possibility that I'd place Frisk at third. For those who'd make the argument that Frisk was better than third, then I'd ask why he didn't have the scholarship offers that Alexander and Simpson did.

 

Simpson ended up having 8 or 9 D1 offers and went with Kentucky, I'm not sure about Alexander's offers, but his career at Alabama and in the NFL should speak for itself. The furthest either of their teams made it in the state tournament was runner up in the finals.

 

Frisk, on the other hand, was on the second place team his junior year, and on the championship team his senior year...yet he ended up playing at Thomas More College - a school that officially doesn't even offer football scholarships. So honestly, what is the provenance of the claims for Frisk being rated higher?

Are you kidding? Look at the numbers he put up only playing 2 quarters a game. If he would of played full games his senior year he would of been Mr. Football hands down..This is really quite comical..Wow!!

He had academic issues. Justin went to a JC in Arizona and had a lot of PAC 10 schools recruiting him. I believe he got injured while there and came back home to finish up his career.

You're right, I had forgotten about the junior college, and I'm aware of his academic issues...I remember from his days at Cov Cath. Still, how many college programs are there that POUR money into seeing that their students make the grades that they have to?

 

I'll be the first to tell you that Frisk was a great running back - he beat us like a drum his senior year. I just honestly think that in the end, he doesn't add up to being the athlete that a lot of people have made him out to be.

Just so you know Simpson didn't play all that many complete games either I do not believe...Its Shaun 1 Miles 2 and whoever else you want to throw out there...

Miles is pretty much included in every record for a RB in the state of KY...Shaun is at the top of every category while Miles is a little further down he is still the closest to Shaun NKY has seen as far as records and I believe as far as with the naked eye as well...

We ae talking high school football, correct? It is Alexander and a huge gap. But Frisk, Skirvin, Sutkamp, Fred Conrad of Holmes, RB in late 90's from Conner was very good, Elliott, Lubrect of B'wood, Miles' father, and Miles would all be considered great High School players. Remember so much of the college offers are based on potential ans speed. I know Skirvin was offered several D1 scholarships to play LB, because of his lack of speed even though he ran a 4.6. However 4.6's don't get you many offers as a Big Time college RB.
