Caleb had a rough night, and his condition is not as good as yesterday. They moved his surgery up in the day today, so everyone please keep praying.

 

It means a lot to the family and to Caleb.

Sent them a card. Remember 2C, let me know if they need anything, I'm 2 minutes away and in the midst of it all they may not ask.

Update on Caleb Cole from his dad Jackie around 11 a.m. today:

They have just taken Caleb back to get him ready for surgery. We are in the waiting room. It will take about an hour to get him ready, procedure will take about an hour, an hour to do something after surgery, then recovery. Very long night, and this is going to be a very long few hours. Thanks to all who changed your profile pics- it made Caleb smile.

Calebs surgery went well and he is in recovery doing great. :banana:

Prayers are certainly continuing for Caleb, the "Little Big Man". Stay tough Caleb.

PH and I just prayed...prayed to the point of tears. He is a beautiful little man....Card sent and prayers sent.

Caleb is doing MUCH better. The surgery was very successful, they got all the bad stuff out of his lung and his breathing has been so much better. He had a great night, and is in a lot less pain than the days before. Thank you all so much for the prayers and cards. Keep him in your prayers that he will recover quickly and be home soon.

 

Here is an update from this morning from his dad via mobile phone: Caleb had a GREAT nite. He is still sore and weak but that will get better. This morning he wanted a breakfast burrito but he is NPO until the PIC line is installed then after that anything he wants (so long as it is clear liquid :() PT will be here and make him walk and he has several lung exercises we are working on.... Kim and I some rest. We missed a breathing treatment sometime, Caleb didn't just me and Kim.

Caleb is continuing to improve. Praise God for seeing him through. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for him.

 

Caleb is getting stronger, today he got out of bed and walked about 100 ft. This is a big improvement for him as he has been so weak. The PT and his surgeon both will back later today and they are hopefully going to remove the chest tube. Keep praying, and praising.
