December 7, 201015 yr Author Thank you all for your prayers. PLEASE keep Caleb in your prayers, he is a very sick little boy. He is very tough, though, and is taking it like a man even though he has been poked and prodded more than anyone should have to take. Just got back from Huntington and Caleb was in a lot of pain. The fluid in one lung is so thick it won't drain. The doctors have decided to do a thoroscopy (sp?) tomorrow where they will basically do chest surgery, go into the lung and try and clean the infection and mucous out of the lung. They are hopeful this will work. Thank you all, I will keep you updated. .
December 7, 201015 yr Author If you would please send Caleb a card. Just follow this link For the room number, please put PICU The hospital will print the card and deliver it to his room. Caleb likes getting these cards and it would be great for him to receive a bunch of them to lift his spirits.
December 7, 201015 yr Author I just saw this posted on facebook by Caleb's dad, Jackie. Just wanted let everyone know Caleb is feeling some better this evening. they have upped his medicine to 2 unit per 2 hours instead of 4 hours. He is sleeping now. We have blood work, 3 respiratory therapy visits, who knows how many nurse visits, and X-ray still to visit us tonite to go NPO at midnite. For a PIC line and surgery tomorrow. We are praying for a pain free restful nite with 2 successful procedures in the OR tomorrow. Thanks and we don't know what we would do without you!!
December 7, 201015 yr Author Just found out Caleb loves power rangers, especially RJ. We told him he is tough like RJ. I am changing my avatar and my facebook profile picture to RJ the Power Ranger in support of Caleb.
December 7, 201015 yr Get well soon Caleb, the Rangers need you. Prayers and card sent for the little guy.
December 7, 201015 yr I just sent Caleb a card. What a great set-up. I am from Huntington and was born (oh so many years ago) at Cabell Huntington Hospital. It is a great hospital with a great staff. We will be praying for Caleb and his family as well at the Hound household. Please keep us updated with his progress. God Bless.
