November 29, 201015 yr http://www.myfoxhouston.com/dpp/sports/nfl/101129-andre-johnson-will-not-be-suspended No suspension! :dancingpa The fine should be at least 50K...
November 29, 201015 yr The fine should be at least 50K... No doubt, I wouldn't be surprised at 100k even.
November 29, 201015 yr No doubt, I wouldn't be surprised at 100k even. I wouldn't be surprised either, but wouldn't also be surprised if it was only 25K, because of the inconsistency from the NFL office.
November 29, 201015 yr Finnegan got what he had coming. Johnson was like a hockey player sick of his crap, it will cost him a few games but sent a clear message to Finnegan. Finnegan was laughing about it after it was all over Johnson lost his cool.
November 29, 201015 yr Finnegan was laughing about it after it was all over Johnson lost his cool. Finnegan's not gonna be laughing when Andre empties out his pocket change to the NFL and hops back out on the field on Thursday night.
November 29, 201015 yr Neither player suspended. Just 25K fines for both. Same amount you get for tweeting to early after the game. That's stupid.
November 30, 201015 yr Same amount you get for tweeting to early after the game. That's stupid. It's the NFL. Do you really expect them to be consistent?
November 30, 201015 yr Seemed like Andre Johnson is border line close to assualt in his antics Sunday afternoon. Strange thing is it seems like the guys on NBC are attacking Tennessee for being a "dirty team" that takes cheap shots and tries to get in other teams heads. Have you watched the titans one time this year? They are dirty. What AJ did was wrong but finnegan had it coming.
November 30, 201015 yr I think a few things went into this: 1. A Johnson has a clean reputation. 2. A. Johnson handled himself really well saying he was sorry to the league, his team the kids etc. Not saying it's right but it didn't hurt him. 3. Short week they play Thurs. That's a big one. 4. Oh yeh they play on Thurs night which is primetime on NFL network. Think they are going to pass on the money they would miss out for people not tuning in to watch arguably the best WR in the league?
November 30, 201015 yr It's the NFL. Do you really expect them to be consistent? After the Seymour hit Ben they said the NFL has a fine scale for fighting so they would be consistent. The problem is they have changed these other fine scales mid season without thinking about how it will compare.
