Much too confusing. Would not recommend this at all. I would recommend exiting Mt. Zion, left turn (west to rt. 42,) left turn at rt. 42 and Ryle will be on right around 1/2 mile.

 

Take Exit 175 turn left go to the 2nd light turn right, when the road ends turn left you are on Frogtown Road in a couple of miles you will run into Ryle High school.

 

Does that make it less confusing I promise this is the easiest way to Ryle from Louisville.

Get off the Mt. Zion exit its a carry out Larosas's but I think Papa Dino's off the Richwood exit is better!

This is no joke this happen to me last Friday. Soon as I turned on Frogtown the car behind came from the game to and when I passed the first side road they gave me their bright lights and turned off. It was probably someone on here hoping it was me driving I had a good laugh about it.

As a Boone County resident and one who ran the Welcome Center and Rest Area that is located between the Mt. Zion and Richmond Road exit for years, I believe the Mt. Zion Road Exit would be the easiest to not get lost on.

 

Once you exit off Interstate 75/71 North at the Mt. Zion Road exit, you turn left onto Mt. Zion road, you then don't make another turn until you hit US 42 which is a four lane highway. Turn left onto US 42 and Ryle is just down the road on your right.

I can understand your logic but with Frogtown Connector once you turn off the interstate it is 2 turns either way. I just think avoiding Mt. Zion and 42 traffic on a Friday night is a plus.

I live off Mt. Zion and if Ryle was a right turn off the exit I would agree to avoid Mt. Zion. However, turning left and going to 42 is easy, I use it everyday. The Richwood exit traffic is always much more congested and backed up most of the time. Go Mt. Zion to 42

The best route for T fans is to relax at home for the night and save gas money.

Exit 178 (Mt.Zion) and two left turns is about as easy as it gets.
