I hope it is an economic success. I doubt that I will ever see the place. I would only go if I was taking my grandkids and I would never expose my grandkids to a place that violates both my religious and scientific beliefs.

First, I'm happy for anything that brings jobs to Kentucky. Will I visit? I'm not sure. I think it depends on if it's trying to "teach" me something or entertain me.

 

Now, I have a proposal for my Catholic friends....can we get a Vatican City theme park? I mean...people could help paint the Sistine Chapel and get lost in the Vatican Archives...maybe we could do a daily show focused on a Papal Conclave. Just sayin....

If you are just worried about jokes people might say, you need to get more of a life.

You're not seeing the big picture. Those perceptions can become reality, and can weigh heavily in the minds of the decision-makers who will or will not decide to do business in Kentucky. You may see it as a joke, but in the long run, a negative perception (deserved or not) can effect the state's ability to attract business and industry.

I'm a Catholic christian and have zero desire to support it despite the fact that I hope it succeeds so that the people of the area gain something.

 

Especially the faiths that hold it as a very important story...

 

So if you are not against it because of its theme like you stated earlier....why are you against it?

I think we see a whole other theme developing here.

God doesn't seem to thrilled about the theme park idea at the Creation Museum.....
