A $150 million Noah’s Ark-themed amusement park is being planned for Williamstown, Ky., halfway between Cincinnati and Lexington.

The project is expected to create 900 full- and part-time jobs and will take three years to build after ground is broken, said an official in Williamstown who was briefed on the project but asked not to be identified. The theme is designed to piggyback off the success of the nearby Creation Museum, which is about 40 minutes northwest.

Who is funding this?

The Ark Park. This shall be the nickname of the new park. I bet the water park (if included as part of the park) will be AWESOME.

I wonder if 40 day discounted season passes will be offered?

No idea. Not the taxpayers though. I believe it is privately funded. Like the Creation Museum.

Probably George Soros :bunny:

If it doesn't have a water park it will be a failure of biblical proportions in my opinion.

Its called "Noah's Ark"....hard to imagine this whole thing without water....

here is a link to the park http://www.noahsarkwaterpark.com/

That place is in Wisconsin. I don't think it has anything to do with what is being proposed in Kentucky.

I shouldn't of put "here is a link to the park". I meant I imagine it would be something similar. I may be wrong though.

Sadly it's not for families as you can only enter in pairs.
