Pike is listed in the Scout top 100. He is starting out as a 4 star but there are not any 5 star quarterbacks. In the top 100 there are 7 4 star QB's.

Here's a link that is just for 2012 recruits.

If I'm reading that correctly, they have Pike listed as the 18th best prospect for 2012.

I'm going to be quite honest, I have never seen the kid play. So my question is what is his playing style? Is he fast (can't imagine if he's 6'5'' 225)? Strong arm? From the looks of this article he isn't even playing QB yet.

He played QB this year and he threw for over 2000 yards and rushed for over 900. He runs well and has a big arm.

I compare his style to Ben Rothlesberger. Plays like Ben but has more speed..

More speed or relatively more speed compared to the competition? I seems like UF fans seem to really like him.

I bet Pike has a faster 40 than Big Ben..

A mix between Rothlisberger and Tebow. He is most dangerous passing when he scrambles in the pocket, just like Big Ben. He would as soon run you over as put a move on like Tebow. His speed is much better than many realize. I saw him chasing down fast RB's from the back side outside LB/DE position.

How many of his recievers return? It seemed they had an uncanny knack of being able to bail Pike out when he was in trouble.

How is his attitude? If it is bad like some claim, no coach in college will tolerate that.

I won't comment one way or the other on his attitude since I'm never around him.

However, I disagree about the coaches not wanting a player with attitude problems. We see kids all the time that get into D1 scholarships despite their attitudes.

Talent will usually win out.

I've seen the Attitude unfortunately who knows what he is really saying? The kid is a player and wants to win. On the other hand if he is making negative comments towards coaches and players than it needs to be corrected as far as that hurting him these college coaches and school's don't care they want someone who can play the game. Look at the NFL it's filled with attitudes.

Rarely if ever do you see a kid in Division I football give their coach attitude, the referees or opponents- yes, but not their coach.

Dixie will return Bruns, Cohorn, and Justice next year. There will be plenty of weapons for him to get his numbers.
