Ryle all the way! They will beat Sk in a close game. 35-24. Then Lawrence graduates and Sk is back to playing there joke of a schedule and back to the 5-5 4-6 records as before.

Love to to hear you predict this! Gives us confidence cause your wrong EVERY time!! Who's Boone got this week?? LOL

Go SK! Make it a good game and give those Raider's at least one TD so they don't look so bad! My prediction is 21-6 SK all the way!

He had no problem throwing 3 touchdown passes lastnight!

He also had 2 picks.

And a Victory!:thumb:

The same team that SK will have next week..:lol:

How many state titles does SK have LOL. For the love of big Joe Stark schedule HHS, I'd plead with Dale to put up 100 if I keep hearing crap from the NEERS.

I think we see the Travis Elliot show shut down early by SK forcing Ryle to be successful throwing the ball...SK will stop the run in this game and Ryle fans better hope Hempel is on target (which he is fully capable of). It will be interesting to see the weather forecast for next Friday, I believe this plays more into this game than the teams themselves as both teams are even IMO. A night like yesterday favors the Neers and their spread speed attack, however if it's nasty cold like the first round games Ryle will have an advantage with their bruising RB even though I still believe SK takes him out of the game early...Another difference I see in SK's advantage is they have faced much stronger competition in the first rounds and have had to play close games and battle making them battle tested and ready for war...On the other hand I'm not sure if Ryle's last two games might hurt them against SK as it will be a war and Ryle won't simply be able to do whatever they want....I see SK attempting lots of passes to their stud Wide-outs and shredding the Raiders through the air, thus opening up the running game for Lawrence much like SK did against HC...Chad Lawrence is a warrior and will not lose to Ryle twice in one season ending his High School career...Chad and the Neers will at least get one more game against Trinity...SK 31 RYLE 14

A previous thread that you started, below....

Better to begin playoffs coming off a hard fought competitive game or an easy W?

I hear lots of chatter on Simon Kenton not preparing themselves for the playoffs because they played Scott the last week of the regular season. It makes all the sense in the world to me that it would be better to enter into the playoffs well rested than to be coming off a very competitive and tiring game such as the Ryle vs Highlands game on Thursday. Personally I think that if a team hasn't found their identity and doesn't know what they need to do going into the last week of the season than that team has real issues. Simon Kenton enters into the playoffs feeling good regardless of whom they played, they put up 40+ points with their starters and then rested them for a whole half all while getting the replacements some valuable time. Thoughts???

So, in the top post, you said that it is to your advantage to come into this game off of a tough hard fought win... it makes you battle tested and ready for war. You also started another thread, prior to the playoffs, titled "Better to begin playoffs coming off a hard fought competitive game or an easy W?" Your remarks are bolded above. You seem to be somewhat conflicted in your statements... And don't state the obvious that the two posts don't have anything to do with each other because we are already in the playoffs. So which is it, your first statement or your second... "Battle Tested or Well Rested"? They are completely opposite of one another...

Good research work A27. Sounds like he wants to tell his story both ways. Hmmm. Based on his 31-14 prediction, it should be an easy night for the Neers in Union since they are playing a team that has not played or won close games this year. Except for that lucky win over Highlands.

Ryle has played close games against sub par competition...

So, what's the point other than Ryle came away with a W in those 2 games. Ryle does not live in the past. That's why they made changes and just manhandled a team that they won a close game against earlier in the year. SK will see a MUCH better Ryle team on both sides of the ball than what they lost to in October.

Ryle 28 SK 21. Both of these teams are good but I think Ryle has the better offense and with the changes they've made on Defense I think they keep Lawerence in check. SK's defense which is very good will keep it close but Ryle advances IMO.

SK 35 Ryle 0. Next!

SK 35 Ryle 0. Next!

Another easy game for the Neers just like last time. :sssh: Next.
