SK is cooling off at the wrong time of the year.

 

SK is in the third round of the playoffs no matter how you put it...One things for sure SK knows how to win tight games and they will be prepared for another one next Fri at Ryle...SK is becoming a more of a defensive juggernaut nowadays compared to the offensive juggernaut we were accustomed to seeing earlier in the year...I think I once heard a saying Defense wins Championships, well that probably isn't true lol but it is nice to have a reliable defense at this point in the year...SK has seen speed and they have seen power, speed being HC power being Ryle who beat SK in OT by 3...FRIDAY night will be a barn burner...

Defense played great tonight. If they could just cut a few mistakes out they'll have a good shot next week. The offense continues to struggle but the defense is playing better than it has all season. The catch at the end of the game to put HC in scoring range was a great play by the QB and the WR, however the play probably never should've happened, HC was helped out by a roughing the passer call as well as a defensive pass interference that we honestly thought was going to be called offensive pass interference. SK will have plenty of mistakes to fix and go over in films in the morning but they got the job done tonight.

 

The lack of fan support for HC in the second round of the playoffs is sad.

Let's not forget that this is the same team that only beat Conner by 12 last week.

 

Glad everything will be settled next week when the Neers head out to Union for a rematch. We (nkysports.com) may be covering the game but we are waiting to see about a wireless card since the last two times we've been to Ryle, we've had troubles with ours. If we get it worked out, Ryle/SK will be our nkysports.com game of the week.

Campbell deserved to be in the playoffs. Everyone knows that they are not at as high of a level as the rest of NKY 6A, but they deserve respect. I don't care what anyone says, Kramer is still a very good QB. Hopefully, Campbell will start getting more boys come out for their team. As many students go to that school, they should have much more of a team than what they do. This has been a problem at Campbell for a long time.

This was not the same HC team. Their best player left in the 2nd quarter of the Conner game due to injury and didn't play against SK last night.
