November 12, 201015 yr Sounds like the former Holmes' star has gotten off to a good start: The Chipola men’s team improved to 2-0 with a pair of wins in the Johnson Classic. The Indians outlasted Shelton State 52-39 in a defensive struggle on Nov. 6. Elijah Pittman led the Indians with 15 points. The Indians trounced Enterprise State, 105-60, on Nov. 5. Pittman led Chipola with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Link I'll track his progress throughout the season as well and continue to post updates in the thread.
November 12, 201015 yr Pittman will continue to dominate at this level IMO. He is on the fast track to Division One basketball as long as he can make the grades at Chipola.
November 12, 201015 yr Author Agreed. I think him getting away is what he needed though. The basketball talent has always been there. It's the mental side that has needed work. If he continues to progress and work hard in the classroom, he'll be suiting up for Bob Huggins in two years and playing Big East basketball.
November 17, 201015 yr Author #8 Chipola College 83 #20 Atlanta Metro College 71 Elijah Pittman- 10 points ....Then the Indians got a bucket, followed by a spectacular windmill dunk by Pittman to push the lead back to double figures at 37-26. #8 Chipola College 70 Georgia Perimeter College 55 Elijah Pittman- 10 points Chipola is now 4-0.
November 17, 201015 yr Author Through 4 games, Pittman is averaging 14 ppg. His next game is November 19th.

If that truly is an option, great for Pittman! Hopefully he takes full advantage!

I agree much stronger looks sorta like Terrence Jones:D I truly believe Pittman will end up at a D1 school and possibly be the best player on that team...
