I can't believe there were 50 walkers coming from all angles and they decided to amputate a man's leg with a pocket knife.

Yeah my first thought after they decided to help him was just yank him up and drag to the car, then worry about saving the leg.

Rick is probably thinking that an attempt to save the kid will help them when the others come for revenge on the bar shooting.

I think Rick is a good character though he is very much a GOOD person and he is walking that hard line between animal survival and human decency, which I think is what the story is about.

What do you guys think about the end were Lori is clearly stirring up the pot between Rick and Shane?

She wants Shane dead because his presence will threaten her family/kids. And she is in love with Shane and his presence causes her conflict to truly love Rick.

OR

She wants Rick to come after Shane, and she warns Shane so Shane kills Rick. Then she is free from her inner conflict.

And I have had way too much coffee already!

I think she feels like Shane was a mistake and everytime here and Rick get past it, Shane pops back in and makes it harder to forget, so she is like hey he can just die, and really in this situation that is much like defreinding him! LOL I also think it is her maternal feelings that see him as a threat to their safety.

I was thinking...I find it odd that they can't secure a tank or humvee or anything more powerful than a Winnebego (a crappy one at that).

Also, everyone is walking around with shotguns, pistols and hunting rifles. You'd think they would've landed a few machine guns, grenades, rocket launchers, etc. at this point. I mean...it should be open season on anything you want, right?

Can Laurie just become a Walker please? It'll never happen because she is the main part of the Rick/Shane battle, but she is the absolute worst.

I always thought it would be a good idea to grab a big dump truck to use to gather supplies. You'd be able to carry anything you wanted in the bucket and with those big tires you could just roll over the walkers.

I am with you. Wish she would have gotten eaten. Rick/Shane/Laurie is all coming to a head. Blond crazy chick is behind getting Shane making a stand.

Maybe the new angry Dayrl will slap some sense into them. Has Tdog even had any lines yet.

I think he said "I'm with you brotha" the other day when they were loading up bodies.

The worst part is Rick is carrying a freaking revolver . If you are going to carry a pistol, why not carry one that will hold more than 6 rounds? I think having a glock with 4-5 15 round magazines would be a little smarter.

If I were stuck in zombie world, I'm going to have at least an M-4 or an M-16, a pistol on my side and maybe one on my ankle as well. I'm also going to have a back pack full of water, food, and ammo any time I go out.

Eh forget the ankle just pack on both sides not like you don't want the Walkers knowing you are packing. Only reason I may consider the ankle is something similar to last weeks events where you run in to a threat thats actually still human.

There are a few situations I can think of where one on the ankle might be useful.
