I love Darryl. I can't wait to see in action against other humans.

Anyone still not think we've seen the last of Earl. I keep getting a feeling that he will pop up as some kind of king of the walkers or something.

THe last 5 minutes of this episode were some of the best of the series. The rest of the episode was just average imo.

I wasn't a fan of the chick getting sick. How many different times are we going to have someone sick and everyone surrounding their bed lol

I will say the only way I will like her getting sick is if she turns into a zombie and it pushes Hershel over the edge into full on crazy mode.

And pleaseeeeee let Laurie be walker food. It won't happen because she is the main factor in the Rick/Shane conflict, but I still can hope. What will happen is she will have a miscarriage because of the accident and that's it.

You just knew it was going to go down in the saloon. Great stuff.

Hershel watching... waiting for him to go all Rambo on the Walkers...

I agree that you could just tell that things were going to hit the fan in the bar. When the guy jumped acrosst he bar, I knew he was trying to establish position around Rick. Worked out well

I still loved his line after his friend said "eat me, Dave."

Dave replied, "Maybe someday I will."

The guy behind the bar - is he dead? It looked like Rick shot him in the shoulder. Any chance that he will come back in later episodes? The other guy wont be making a return appearance.

I thought Rick shot him in the face.

The writing in this show is terrible .

Why did Lori go out by herself to bring Rick back? She couldn't talk him into staying, what makes going and getting him a good idea? All she's doing is giving him another obstacle to overcome in getting back to the farm.

Of course this is the show that decided lowering Glenn into a well with a 500 lb zombie was good writing.

Don't get me wrong, I like the show..and I know it's a zombie show. But do the people in the show have to be so stupid?

Agree. Think about it...Rick goes after Hershel to bring him back so he could work on the sick girl. Then Laurie goes to get Rick to tell him to hurry up and get Hershel. I mean that makes no logical sense at all. And not only that, she goes by herself.

It went from a show I loved in Season 1 to a show with bad writing that I kinda like now. The ending was promising though and I hope they keep that pace up the rest of the season.

Give me a Shane and Daryl spin off one time

I was so caught up in it all, that I did not put it all together that it was all about bringing Hershel back!

Laurie---no more baby so no need for the paternity disputes. She won't die. But there will be Walkers surrounding the car. Shane will save her and be the big hero. Then Shane bumps up to Alpha Male, and Darryl is his Robin. (I could write this stuff. I'm quitting my day job!)

Save the final bar scene, this was a very ho hum episode IMO.

Hoping they get off the farm next episode, and finish out the season at the prison. Would be an awesome way to finish out the season.

I don't think the writing is too off base, the wife and the other blonde are head cases always doing stuff by the seat of the pants, If you remember she did not want him to go after Herschel and he did anyway she asked Daryl I think because that is who she see as both expendable and capable of bringing back her man. After He got here all tore up she done the stupid thing going herself.
