Highlands 70 Woodford County 8

Evidently 10 TD's & more importantly, 10 extra points by the Birds.

True. Schultz looked kicking the last 3 or 4 extra points after Weinel was through. Schultz looked pretty good on kickoffs also.

Should be fun! Go Birds...Beat Colonels!

Just got home other then the score had a great time. That is one of the greatest atmosphere to play football game in. The set up is like a small college, and very nice fans. Four guys next to the sideline ask me if I brought some Woodford Reserve with me; must be a popular thing up there.

Should have asked me, it helped my sore throat. LOL

Blowout, first 5 plays from scrimmage and 2 of them were pick 6's. The 6'6 WR from Woodford Co should figure out that if the ball is not able to be caught and it looks like it will be an INT, then you should atleast either try for the ball or defend the defender.

I froze just so my boy Whackem could talk hunting with Family Tradition. The American Honey after the game was soothing.

Next up are the Colonels and the machine will keep rolling. I am predicting that CovCath beats JC down in Johnsonville and the Birds play at home that 3rd week. But first things first Beat Dixie and smother Pike.

Where was this team last week?

Let me guess, was it Larry, Larry, Larry and Darrel?

I think I know those guys and there were probably more than 4 lined up wondering if you brought some Woodford.

I'll bet those words are sweet music wafting through this chilly night in Park Hills.

One game at a time BF, one game at a time!

Let CovCath beat Ashland first, then worry about JC.

You're not serious are you?

Last time I checked Ryle was 9-1 and Woodford 1-9 going into last night. The fact that the Birds had the ball for 13 of 48 minutes last week and still were able to have a chance to tie the game last week in the waning moments of the game is a testament to their fortitude.

Birds were ready to roll from the opening kickoff.

I am pretty sure if the HHS frosh would of played the whole game they would of won this game rather easily. Woodford has a young team from what I was told. Hopefully they will be much better next year. GO BIRDS!!

Gabe looked really good kicking, he should step in as the kicker next year.

Business as usual for the Birds.

Good to hear the Baby Birds got in and contributed.
