I will say this, I read and heard about Auburn paying some big money for this last class they had. I hate that this came out now, I feel that it is only public because Newton is playing so well. If he were 3rd string would Meyer want this out there? I don't doubt that every school has some bag men, I just hope Newton didn't take money or that the NCAA can't prove he did, because he has a great story right now. Don't get me wrong, I don't fault a player for taking money or a team for giving it out. The SEC is notorious for under the table recruiting, so as a fans of SEC teams I don't think alot of us should be that happy. If you think Auburn is the only team doing this I don't know what to say. I belive he left Florida on his own HT. Both he and the school say that. He was arrested for buying stolen property and then throwing that property (a computer) out the window when the cops were coming to check it out.

A lot of smoke on this one. Is it true who knows? He's innocent until proven guilty, but kids at D-1 schools are talked to a lot more than we know about. It just depends on if they take the bait.

You can't stop them. Never will happen. All you can do is hope the coach of your favorite team is smart enough to stay out of it. Agents and boosters are paying players every day and nearly every D1 school and it will not stop.

Ok, here I go again, History, did you ever have a job change? Did you ever make a statement and had a family talk and changed your mind? MSU, he went to LSU a step up and he won a what? Got an offer to the Pros and most coaches would want to try the Pros, and so did he. Miami, is a very great place to try this. Was asked by Bama if he was interested and he said "NO" and meant it.

 

Now our AD decided to call himself and asked to meet in person. He went to meet and his backup plan was Bobby Petrino who was playing in Miami with the Cards. Mal Moore is our AD and he actually talked to Terri Saban more than her husband. Coach Saban still said no, mal left and the next day Nick called and said he wanted to talk some more but wanted to wait until the season was over. he went to the owner and told him if you really want me to stay I will, Wayne said no go on.

 

Terri, was not happy living in Miami, she wished they had stayed at LSU. Mal Morre is writing a book about this experince, in how he got the Saban to change thier minds, you ever change yours?
