No because all it takes is a bunch of undisclosed secret donors to pay for attack ads to flood the airwaves and you have the election. The American electorate on average has little understanding of the issues and sadly not many care. So we will get fooled again those on the left and the right.

At least we know that if the "Rs" control the legislative branch, we can count on your vote for a "D" in the executive.:thumb:

I predict the House will vote to rescind the healthcare bill.

I'm waiting with baited-breath on the term limit amendments for Congress that surely will go in first thing once the Tea Partiers get to Washington.

I expect a shutdown. While stupid, messy, and hurtful to veterans and other groups that rely on Federal support, some still appear to look wistfully on those grand times with Newt. Of course, it also helped Bill Clinton landslide Dole...

I guess I will be the sucker and expect the new blood to keep their promises and begin to changes things. I will give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove me wrong.

But it will force everyone to stand up and be counted. No more "I didn't understand what I was voting for" nonsense. Of course, the bad part is liberals can vote for repeal of healthcare knowing it stands no chance of happening.
