November 8, 201015 yr I like to think that I have a wide range of musical taste and I have no idea who either 7th Day Slumber or Skillet are.... They're both Christian Rock bands, so you might not know them if you don't dive into that realm too often. I don't typically, but work with many people who won't listen to anything else so I'm more exposed to it than I would normally be. Not my cup of tea, but not bad either.
November 8, 201015 yr SOmetimes the little venues provide the most pleasant surprises. I remember (vaguely) seeing Heart play a Baltimore nightclub called The Palace. Between their first two albums so they played numbers from both of them. Great show. I agree. My wife took me for my b-day to a place across from Rupp Arena. It use to be called Breedings. We saw Eddie Money and that was awesome. It took a week to get my hearing back but great fun. Saw Keith Urban at Renfro Valley a few years back. He was awesome. Especially the half hour it was just him and his guitar.
November 8, 201015 yr Skillet does the songs "Hero" and" Monster " . I think Hero was used on a MNF clip ala Hank Jr. Pretty hard rock for us conservative christians lol TobyMac is pretty dang good in concert
November 8, 201015 yr Wow I can not believe I missed this thread. The highest energy show I have ever seen was probably Sammy Hagar. That guy put on a show like few others. And back when he was in town, after I can't Drive 55 came out, if anyone saw him buying the 55 speed limit sign from a younger guy, well.......... Good deal as a signed $20.00 was well worth the pain of ummmmmmmmmm finding a loose sign! :lol: Lots of the Hard Rock shows were also very good. Anybody remember Bon Jovi, opening for Ratt at the Gardens in Norwood????? That was also a great show, esp since yours truly had won front row, and back stage passes from 96Rock!!!
