The KHSAA dropped a bomb on Lex Cath this week. Major sanctions which, it sounds like, might effect this season and next.

 

 

The KHSAA sent Lexington Catholic a letter this week detailing the sanctions, which include a hefty fine, forfeiture of games, a reduction in the number of games the Knights can play next year, and probation.

 

Neither the KHSAA nor Lexington Catholic would reveal the specifics of the penalties, but Stevens confirmed that the fine is “close” to $30,000 and that the Knights’ baseball and football teams would see a reduction in their schedules.
