Good to hear, I know it was a pleasure to have those guys down to do the game last week. Impressive they're following the Tigers on a 3 hour trip. I know anytime a mountain team has success I've followed them throughout the playoffs. Good to see other teams' fans getting behind other mountain schools. I caught a bit of the game broadcasted on Q95, it seemed they knew quite a bit about the Paintsville players and talked positively about a few especially. I know 9.89 here in Paintsville, they usually do Johnson Central games but last week they followed Sheldon Clark to Leslie Co. Was glad to see them show some support for Martin Co., I know they have quite a few listeners from over there especially last Friday night. I'd assume they'll be traveling to Belfry with the Cardinals again this week.

IMO, defense is the "X" factor. Both defenses are good, especially of late, while neither of them are great, and both offenses are superb. Whoever elevates their play on "D", wins the championship.

Yeap that game was ugly, this year's group of juniors and seniors were freshmen and sophomores that year for the most part they were then starters then as well. Paintsville has looked very good as of late since that embarassing loss to pikeville. If this team comes out and plays there game they will be tough. However the speed and overall talent of somerset is far to much for them. I believe somerset will slow down if not stop there running game there by giving somerset the win. I feel they stop pue who has been there mr everything and at the end of the night someset goes to meet and play for a spot in state. I am pumped and ready to watch this it will be a dog fight.

Somerset has way too many weapons. I say Somerset by 21.

 

In all honesty, Somerset should be playing in Louisville the first week in December against most likely Bardstown. Should make for an interesting state final since Bardstown has knocked Somerset out of the playoffs a few times in recent years.
