Simon Kenton and Boone County will do battle this Friday, your thoughts and predictions.

SK is pretty darn good against the run. The Pioneers will be in a surly mood after the loss at Ryle. Playing at SK, this could be a long night for the Rebels.

Unless BC can hit for some big plays via the pass this game will be won by SK.

From looking at the box score Saturday morning , it looks like they have a couple of weapons. The problem in Florence is the coach has probably already forgotten about that TD pass. I do agree that BC doesn't have a prayer in this game though. SK 35 BC 7.

Two years ago when these teams played at Sk, Sk was supposed to win the game. Boone shook some things up and had a ton of wrinkles that Sk couldn't handle. If Boone can switch things up a bit this week I give them a good chance to win this game. If it's run run run it will be a long night for the Rebels. If the offense steps up there's no doubt in my mind that the defense will step up. The D ends must step up and contain Lawrence. Can't wait to see this one.

Decent. Not great, not terrible. He cannot throw the ball though. At all.

Why?

I have SK 35-16 in this one. SK's defense against the rush has been pretty good overall (see Bradley from Cooper) and I don't see BC having the athlete at QB that Ryle has. SK kept Elliot in check with the exception of one long run (that should have been a 3 yd gain).

 

I think the Pioneers come out mean and angry in this one although there is alot of talk about a letdown after a disappointing loss.

Pioneers should be too much for the Rebels. Offensively, Boone will struggle if all they do is try to run the ball down Sk's throat.

As many of us are not expecting a win from Boone. I can gurantee you that there will be Rebel football players on the field continuing to give a 110% effort to do their best in spite of the fact that the head coach will not make the proper adjustments to offer a better game plan. I won't count any team out until the game is played regardless of what happened last week or how they're ranked. SK is a good team, but the word "upset" was created for a reason. Play The Game!!!!!
