Obviously he isn't that smart if he thinks that...........Highlands would crush NCC..........Not even close........ :fight: :fight:

Good call, bet you didn't get that from comparing scores.

Congrats to Paul Rains and company on a great win...regardless of Beechwood being somewhat down it is still a great win to get over a storied program

I've heard some rumors that Rains could be coming home....

Good call, bet you didn't get that from comparing scores.

Nope just stating facts.............

Nope just stating facts.............

What facts??? I, like other NewCath fans, would love to play Highlands for the simple arrogance that you show. This isn't '97 or '98. I would love to see it, no excuses, no rumors. On the field. If Highlands wins, so be it. They are the better team then. I just would love to see NewCath have that shot.

Any team that can put 43 on the scoreboard against Beechwood (even if some were defensive points) is going to be a difficult opponent to beat.

Just a note, Beechwood was down with two key defensive starters. Evan Reilly who was the anchor of the "D" had his ACL operated on today, was lost two weeks ago. It just wasn't meant to be for the Tigers this year!

Remember NCC lost to Beechwood who got DRILLED by LCA tonight. This is not last year's LCA. It's a far better team.

Deja Vu.

I heard this last week about FC vs HHS.

Who won't play who???????????Old Bob is scared to death that he would get embarassed............

Muth is a good, fast athlete, but he threw 4 interceptions. Beechwood also lost 1 or 2 fumbles. Sawyer was OK.

But nobody for Beechwood could match Tyrrell Hayden for LCA. Preliminary stats: 137 yards rushing & 4 TDs. One interception return for a TD.

LCA had 310 yds. rushing and 63 yds. passing.

LCA would have scored more, but the long passing attempts to Henderson were off-target.

Wow what a performance by tyrell hayden. he took the game over offensively and defensively. Is NCC fast?

Is NCC fast?

Nope. Power team...

Beechwood was in the game untill part way through the 3rd quarter. As the margin increased, they seemed to give up. I heard their cheerleaders cheering "we believe." But the players either didn't believe, or else they just ran out of steam physically. At this point LCA's defense began to dominate. Beechwood would move the ball for a bit, but you had a sense that they couldn't sustain their drives. Their JV ran up 80 yards and a TD in the last 2 minutes.

When was the last time Lex Christ played in the state game and when was the last time NCC did? You won tonight but you got one more team to go through... remember the state game is played in December.

Hmmmm let me think.... Last time NCC played in state final?? 2000 and 2001 is my guess. And which opponent defeated them? Oh wait, us.

WTG Lex Christian. Great win for CKY football

That might be barely knowledgeable if he thought NCC was better than CovCath or Highlands.

I didn't get the reasons why except that NCC is supposed to be peaking now. I think Highlands is also. But my intention was to caution LCA fans from thinking they had beaten the best that NKy has to offer.

where will this game be played at? who are the 8 teams left in 1A
