Lexington Christian 43 Beechwood 20

Featured Replies

Yeah and one loss by Beechwood to a District 6 team and all of a sudden it's the worst game they've ever played. What a joke.

When was the last time Lex Christ played in the state game and when was the last time NCC did? You won tonight but you got one more team to go through... remember the state game is played in December.

Here we go already 1 big win for LCA and all of a sudden NCC has any chance of winning?

No matter what LCA accomplishes, there are those who poo-poo their achievements. When LCA beats NCC you will find some way to diminish that as well.

Congrats to Paul Rains and company on a great win...regardless of Beechwood being somewhat down it is still a great win to get over a storied program

Sounds to me like the LCA posters can get on here and say all they want. They had to endure all the smack talk and everyone telling them it won't even be a game. Now, not only do they beat Beechwood, but they beat them pretty bad.

Good Luck Eagles next week. Bring the region championship home to District 6.

My congrats to LCA.... they won the game im proud of them are they a first year program?

A fairly knowledgeable Beechwood follower at the LexCath game told me that NCC had the best team in NKy including the 3A powers. He thought LCA would win handily today but have its hands full with NCC. LCA beware. Congrats on a great win.
That might be barely knowledgeable if he thought NCC was better than CovCath or Highlands.

They've only had football for 5 or 6 years. How long has Beechwood had football? A win is a win. It makes it even better when that when comes against a great team like Beechwood. Let the LCA posters enjoy a monumental win in their program. All great programs have had these type of wins that literally take their program to "Powerhouse" status. LCA may have just had theirs.

You've got to be kidding. What kind of a question is that?!

Of course they do.

The question is whether NCC has any chance at all.

Isn't your post as equally absurd?

Yeah and the Houston Texans won the other week. LCA got a nice win. Remember Beechwood lost to Bellevue who got DRILLED by NCC tonight. This is not last years Beechwood team. But still a good team.

Yep :thumb:

I'm still in shock on this one. Very surprising. Congrats to the Eagles :thumb:

NCC should give LCA a better game.

NewCath has never beaten Beechwood by this margin. This is truly impressive. Going to be interesting next Friday...or Saturday whenever we're able to find a field (which is good for NKY and Newport that they are winning as well. Congrats 'Cats)

Enjoy your big win tonight it sounds like they shock you guys. Hope to see ya at the game next week.

Obviously he isn't that smart if he thinks that...........Highlands would crush NCC..........Not even close........ :fight: :fight:

It sounds like LCA is a legit foe for the Breds. I'm sure there are many NCC fans who wanted another shot at Bwood and I'm sure there are many who are more than happy to see an early exit by the Tigers. You can't compare scores vs common opponets, it just doens't work that way. I wonder if this will be Friday or Saturday? I really want to watch HHS/LC but I also want to see this one.
