October 1, 201015 yr No one ever said that LeBron was an Ivy-League caliber student. His stupidity is reaching Big Ben and Pacman Jones levels. Lets not get too crazy here. LeBron is beyond arrogant but he has not made the level of stupid decisions of these players.
October 1, 201015 yr I think most people think along the lines of myself: a) I don't care if Lebron played in Cleveland or Miami, he should do what he wants, BUT (b) Don't hold your own TV show to announce your decision, basically rubbing your departure in the face of Cleveland, and then not answer any real questions and look surprised when Cleveland reacted negatively. Race a factor? I don't think so. Arrogance and unbelievable self-absorption a factor? Definitely.
October 1, 201015 yr I'm proud to say that I hated Lebron James at least a couple years before everyone else did. Now the question I'm asking myself is why not sooner. This dude may be the biggest moron of a jerk in all of sports.

October 1, 201015 yr Point the finger at yourself, Lebron - Jason Whitlock I don’t leave home without my race card. I hate it when people throw it around to cover their shortcomings. On Thursday, LeBron told ESPN’s Rachel Nichols that people were looking too deep into his CNN comments, but he stands by what he (and Maverick Carter) said. He’s playing the race-is-a-factor-in-everything card, which is true. But that’s not what he and Carter implied on CNN. They implied that people have a problem with James and his handling of his free-agency situation because his skin is black. Outside of Cleveland, no one cares or cared that LeBron left. No one could understand why he left in such a classless manner. It’s not like he claimed that Cavs owner Dan Gilbert did him dirty behind the scenes or Cleveland fans mistreated his family the entire time he represented the city.
October 1, 201015 yr I hope he never wins a championship. He doesn't have the class to deserve it. Horrible. This has me fired up, sorry.

Kinda shocking coming from him but I like it.
October 1, 201015 yr I get the feeling that LeBron and his handlers are going to end up getting in alot of trouble off of the court. I actually feel sorry that someone could continue to be this stupid. I think the guy needs a mental evaluation, because no one else in the world would have stuck with Maverick Carter after all of this garbage. I honestly don't think LeBron will ever get it. I'm a fan of his game, but he is a laughing stock off of the court. Kobe Bryant probably hasn't even got a good workout this off-season for laughing so hard at LBJ. The slimeball, media suckup, I'm-going-to-steal-all-the-attention-by-acting-like-I-don't-want-it Kevin Durant has to be loving this.
October 1, 201015 yr You know what irritates me just as much as what Lebron and his crony said...the way the article portrays it, O'Brien is the one who brought it up. The reporter asked them if race was a factor. They didn't just bring it up on their own. I'm beyond tired of this. Race isn't the overriding factor, not does it have to be brought up, in everything. Stuff like this only makes it harder when it really needs to be addressed, IMO.

October 4, 201015 yr All the more reason for me to cheer hard for my favorite team. Which this year is "Whoever is playing Miami".
