Alabama 24 Arkansas 20

The Crimson Tide shows why it's the best team in the country and Ryan Mallett shows he still has too much Wolverine in him. :D

Great adjustments by Coach Saban at halftime...The Tide dominated the Hogs when it mattered most in the 2nd half.

Awesome!!

Good game...when you outrush a team 200+ to 64 you should win.

Two years in a row the Hogs have lost heartbreakers to the Tide.

???

Bama beat them 35-7 last year.

I bet Petrino was wishing he had some of the old UofL receivers available for Mallet to throw to, because his receivers are awful. Kentucky's receivers would lift him to a Heisman easily.

They aren't that bad are they?

I'm satisfied with the result, not a huge fan of either but if I have to pick it's bama every time over the piggies.

They are pretty bad, he hasn't had many receivers. But Arkansas is a terrible place to recruit too. Not near any major cities not a lot of home grown talent in the state for football. It's not an easy place to get good players too.

They had some drops, but they're not bad at all. Childs is as good as anyone in the SEC not named Julio or AJ Green IMO. They have the most productive TE in the SEC. Their little WR (can't think of his name, #4), he dropped some big passes yesterday but he's made some big plays this season including early against Bama.

And for my money, Mark Ingram is still the best player in the country and sits atop my Heisman board. I think the way alot of people (myself included for much of the last two years) view him is that he's not all that great, and I think it has to do with how he looks. He doesn't look like he'd be fast at all, but he is extremely quick. I think he's easily the best player in the country. I'm sorry that I did not give him his due, and even said Richardson was better. I was wrong, I'll take Richardson as the #2 back in the country but he is not Mark Ingram.

It's funny because I found myself pulling for Arkansas. Not because of Petrino (he still a bit of "can't find the right word" to me) but for UofL. Does that make any sense to anyone?

Fun game to watch.

My bad. I was thinking of the game where the Bama player blocked the field goal attempt at the end of the game. Maybe it was the UT game.
