September 25, 201016 yr I'm curious how folks think Pryor will translate to the NFL. His size is incredible and his speed is fantastic. He does not look like a pro passer to me, but Tebow went in round 1 with his mechanics. Is Pryor a 1st round pick as a QB? Will he have to move to WR or TE? Will he have success in the league? Thoughts?
September 25, 201016 yr I'm not an expert by any stretch, but I don't really see him being a pro QB. I also don't think Tebow will be a quality NFL qb either.
September 25, 201016 yr If he stays another year I think he can develop into someone the NFL can really work with. I woudn't take him #1 overall, but I think he's a #1 round pick.
December 24, 201015 yr Author I started this thread a few months back. Folks can comment on where they think hewill go, but I am also curious if folks think he will enter the draft since the suspension has been announced?

Thoughts? TP imo is a freak of an athlete but right now imo he is definately not a 1st round pick at all. Pryor was showing some very positive signs this past season in throwing the football but imo he needs to come back next season to improve his draft position, even with missing the first four games. I don't know if he could be a top level NFL QB or not but with his pure athletic ability I wouldn't bet against him. I can't stop thinking with all that speed with the size and just pure athletic ability that he could be one heck of a NFL tight end.

IMO he most definately would be a first round pick should he come back for his senior season, even with the fewer games due to the suspension.
December 25, 201015 yr I think he could be a decent WR if he puts in the time. He would be a top 10 receiver in the NFL. A lot of people don't realize he was a 5 star basketball recruit as well. He is dead on Moss who is also a phenominal basketball player. You can't guard guys that big, who move so well and who can jump. I believe his future in the NFL is at WR and I will draft him in all my fantasy leagues as soon as he converts.
December 25, 201015 yr This morning a couple of the ESPN talking heads were talking him up as a TE prospect. Which is where I thought Tebow would end up; shows what I know.

It's not just size and speed.
December 25, 201015 yr Pryor would have to add a lot of muscle if he wanted to play tight end in the NFL.

Sure not everyone can do it I completely agree but he is a freak athlete, little people realize that. Gates did it at TE, I could see TP being a #3 WR at worst. 6'6" 240lbs with a 40inch leap and runs a 4.35 40... Randy Moss doesn't run routes he runs down field.
