A kid at Clark Co died from MRSA last year if I remember right. Nothing to take lightly. Hope you get better soon 00Rocket28

Our niece just had a baby in Arizona and had a C section. She picked up MRSA while in the hospital and had to stay for about a week. She is home now. MRSA is nothing to mess around with.

I'm actually sitting in the ER right now, they may have to admit me to lance this thing. The swelling has now spread throughout the entire left side of my face and the pain is unbearable!

I know how you feel man. Good luck hopefully they take care of it.

My son had surgery on his foot Monday for a MRSA infection and spent 3 nights in the hospital just getting out of the hospital Wednesday. He is now taking the anti-biotic Zyvox for the next few weeks. I now know first-hand that MRSA is NOT something to take lightly. I wish the best for you and hopefully you won't have to go through any surgical procedures.

Had one on my knee one week during summer baseball. The doctors had to cut open a hole basically and they shoved some gause (sp?) pads down in there. After about 2 days I was allowed to pull it out. It was about a 2 foot long strong just full of puss and it was gross. Still have the scar on me knee where the hole was.

Had it right under my nostril last year, very similar to yours it sounds like. I took the antibiotics they prescribed to me and it slowly got better until it was gone completely. Hope you're alright man.

I'm still in the ER, they did some blood work and a cat scan, we're awaiting the results. They gave me something for the pain, but I had a reaction to it

That is what they did to my son when he was 2 years old.

This is what I was getting ready to post... A young lady from our soccer team ended up having MRSA and died very soon after a couple years back. I also know somebody close to me that deals with MRSA. Definitely not something to take lightly.... I hope you're better soon Rocket.

Hang in there Rocket.

Well they're keeping me..

Man that stinks, let us know what happens.
